IPL Auction 2024 Date And Venue: 33 Players To Go Under Hammer: The shortlisted players for the IPL auction have been announced. There will be bidding for a total of 333 players in the auction. Of these, 214 players are from India and 119 players are foreigners. There are 23 players in this list whose base price is Rs 2 crore.

The players with the highest base price from India are Harshal Patel, Umesh Yadav and Shardul Thakur. Foreign names include Harry Brook, Travis Head, Riley Rossouw, Steve Smith, Gerald Coetzee, Pat Cummins, Chris Woakes, Josh Inglis, Lockie Ferguson, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Adil Rashid, Rassie van der Dussen, James Vince, Sean Abbott, Jamie Overton, David Willey, Ben Duckett, Mustafizur Rahman are also worth 2 crores.

Wanindu Hasaranga, Phillip Salt, Colin Munro, Sherfane Rutherford, Tom Curran, Jason Holder, Mohammad Nabi, James Neesham, Daniel Sams, Chris Jordan, Tymal Mills, Jhye Richardson and Tim Southee are included in the Rs 1.5 crore bracket. There are 14 players with a base price of Rs 1 crore and 11 players with a base price of Rs 75 lakh.

33 Players To Go Under Hammer


According to Indian time, the auction will start at 2:30 pm. A total of 77 players are to be sold. Of these, 30 slots are for foreign players. KKR has the maximum slots. KKR has to pick 12 players. Delhi Capitals has 9 slots vacant.

Gujarat Titans, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, and Rajasthan Royals also have vacant slots of 8 players each. Chennai Super Kings, Lucknow Super Giants, RCB, and Sunrisers Hyderabad have vacant slots of 6 players each.

Regarding the amount in the purse, Gujarat Titans have the highest amount, and Gujarat has more than Rs 38 crore. Sunrisers Hyderabad also has Rs 34 crore left in their purse. KKR has more than Rs 32 crores and Chennai has more than Rs 31 crores.
