Captain KL Rahul has now joined an exclusive club. Team India has won the ODI series on African soil for the second time. Under the leadership of Virat Kohli, Team India lost the ODI series to South Africa at home.

Now KL Rahul has also joined this important club. Kohli and Rahul have been the only two Indian captains who have won the ODI series in South Africa under their captaincy.

IND Vs SA: KL Rahul Creates History In South Africa

This is the second time in the last 21 years that Team India has won a bilateral series in South Africa. Azharuddin led India for the first time in Africa but Team India had to face defeat. After that many captains came but could not win the series.

In 2017-18, under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, Team India went to Africa for the first time and won the ODI series.

The Indian team defeated South Africa badly and won the match 5-1. Dhoni had also led the team twice before but was not successful.

In the year 2022, under the captaincy of KL Rahul, Team India toured South Africa but had to face defeat there too. The Indian team had to face defeat in that series.

This time again KL Rahul got the chance to captain and the team performed brilliantly and created history by defeating the host team and winning the series 2-1. The youth team went there and defeated Africa badly.

Earlier, the T20 series was tied under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav.
