IND Vs SA Tour: India And South Africa T20, ODI And Test Match Schedule: Good news has come for Team India captain and hit-man Rohit Sharma.

Rohit Sharma is all set to lead India in the 3-match T20I series for the upcoming tour of South Africa, while KL Rahul will lead the ODI team. India will play three T20 Internationals, three ODIs and then two Test matches during the South Africa tour.

According to a report in Indian Express, Rohit Sharma is set to lead the Test match against South Africa, while KL Rahul will lead the ODI team. However, no official statement has come from BCCI yet. Suryakumar Yadav will lead the T20I side

The source said, ‘He (Kohli) has informed the BCCI and the selectors that he needs a break from white-ball cricket and he will contact them about when he wants to play white-ball cricket next.’

At present, he has informed the BCCI that he will play red-ball cricket, which means he is available for selection for the two Test matches in South Africa.

The Indian board had already applied for visas for 45 Indian players for South Africa to ensure that the players reached there as per the schedule.

The India A team will be coached by Sitanshu Kotak and Troy Cooley and VVS Laxman, who has taken over the coaching duties for the ongoing T20I series against Australia, will return to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
