Team India was defeated by Maxwell on the last ball. He returned unbeaten after scoring a century.

Australia has kept hopes alive in the series by winning the third match. If India wins one of the next two matches, it will win the series. Australia will now need to win both matches to capture the series.

The fourth T20 match between India and Australia will be played on 1 December 2023. This match will be played at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.
