IPL Records That No One Would Like To Break: Every IPL match brings with it a lot of excitement, with batsmen raining runs with the bat and bowlers wreaking havoc with the ball.

In such a situation, many records are made and broken. There are many records that every player tries to make or break.

But there are some records that no player would like to break even in his dreams. Today we will talk about such a record.

1) IPL Record For Most Losses:

The first record is not in the name of a player but of a team. That is the record for most match losses. This record is in the name of Delhi Daredevils.

Delhi Daredevils have played 177 matches in 12 seasons of IPL, out of which Delhi has lost 97 matches (IPL Records Of Losses).

Which is the most among all the teams, while Kings XI Punjab is in second place with 94 losses and Royal Challengers Bangalore is in third place with 92 losses. Hardly any team would like to break this record.

2) IPL Record Of Most Consecutive Match Losses:

Delhi Daredevils also have a regrettable record which they share with another team, Pune Warriors India. Both the teams have lost the most 11 matches in a row.

Pune Warriors has the lowest winning percentage of only 26.66% among all the teams. While Delhi’s winning percentage is only 44%. No team would want to make this record either.

3) Captaincy Record In The Most Number Of Losses:

The first duty of the captain of the team is victory and only victory. The captain puts all his efforts to make his team win. He does whatever is necessary to win.

Even after that, if the team loses, then it is disappointing for the captain. The captaincy record in the most lost matches is in the name of Royal Challenger Bangalore captain Virat Kohli (IPL Records).

Although Kohli is counted among the successful captains of India, he is the most unsuccessful captain of the IPL. RCB lost 69 matches under his captaincy.

4) IPL Record Of Most Duck Dismissals:

The worst for a batsman is when he gets out for a duck. Getting out on a Duck is a nightmare for a player.

And if this record is about being dismissed for the maximum number of ducks, then nothing can be worse than this. This record is shared by two players in IPL.

Harbhajan Singh is in first place and Parthiv Patel is in second place, both these batsmen have got out on Duck 13 times in their IPL career.

5) Record For Giving The Most Runs In A Match (IPL Records):

The job of a bowler is to give minimum runs and take maximum wickets. But if someone gives so many runs in his over that the team loses, then it is very painful.

A bowler cannot bowl more than 4 overs in an IPL match. Once Sunrisers Hyderabad bowler Basil Thampi spent 70 runs without taking a wicket in 4 overs of his limit. No bowler would like to break this record.
