Easwaran, during an interaction with Sportstar, was asked if anyone from the BCCI has approached him to talk about the things he needs to improve. Easwaran said, ‘No, I haven’t had any conversation so far.’

He said that, whether I am selected or not. I want to get better as a cricketer. I want to raise my level every day. Selection is something that is not in my hands but it is in my hands to improve every day.

He said, ‘I can do some work to contribute more to my team, no matter which team I play for, be it club, state, India A, or the Indian team. I just want to focus on that. He said, ‘I don’t want to give up. I just want to focus on getting better.

The 27-year-old is set to lead the team of East Zone in the Duleep Trophy 2023, which will be held in Bengaluru from 2023 June 28 to 2023 July 16.

He is expected to do well in the tournament, aiming to impress. During this, he also mentioned the conversation with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli and told that I have learned a lot from them.
