England vs Australia, 2nd Test Ashes 2023: “Just Stop Oil Protesters” Create Ruckus During England vs Australia Test, Match Had To Be Stopped For Some Time:

Ashes 2023: The second Test of the Ashes series between England and Australia at Lord’s has started from Wednesday i.e. today.

England captain Ben Stokes has won the toss and decided to bowl first. Meanwhile, as soon as Australia’s innings started, the match had to be stopped due to the entry of protesters on the field.

A protest against the government is going on in England under the name ‘Just Stop Oil‘. The protesters here are protesting against the government’s new oil, gas, and coal projects.

In such a situation, new methods are also being adopted to reach their performance worldwide. This is the reason why the protesters reached out to disrupt the second match of the Ashes series.

For now, Just Stop Oil protesters have been removed from the pitch at Lord’s Cricket Ground. The pitch has been cleared by the ground staff. Meanwhile, England wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow was also seen carrying a protester during the game.

However, the match was delayed by a few minutes due to the entry of protesters after the first over, as the protesters on the ground created a ruckus and tried their best to spoil the pitch, after which it took time to clear the wicket.

Australia leads the series 1-0 after winning the first Ashes Test at Edgbaston.
