ICC Announced World Cup Prize Money 2023: How Much Champion, Runner Up Get Price Check Details:

All preparations have been completed for the ODI World Cup to be held in India. Officials are trying to improve every stadium.

Meanwhile, on Friday 22 September, ICC announced the prize money for World Cup 2023. ICC is going to shower money on the team that wins the World Cup.

ICC Announced World Cup Prize Money 2023:

ICC has a fair budget for prize money for the World Cup 2023. The total prize money for the ICC ODI World Cup is $ 10 million i.e. about Rs 83 crore.

Apart from India, teams from Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand, England, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the Netherlands will participate in the World Cup to be held in India.

The World Cup 2023 winning team will get this much money:

According to ICC, the team that wins the World Cup will be given four million US dollars i.e. Rs 33.17 crore. The losing team in the final will get two million US dollars i.e. Rs 16.59 crore.

Apart from this, teams will get Rs 33.17 lakh (US$40,000) for each win. The Indian team will play its first match in the World Cup against Australia on 8 October.

  • Winner- Rs 33.17 crore
  • Runner-up – Rs 16.59 crore
  • On losing in semi-finals – Rs 6.63 crore
  • On being eliminated in the group round – Rs 82.92 lakh
  • For winning every match in the group round – Rs 33.17 lakh
