IPL 2023: Suryakumar’s Poor Form Became A Concern For India

Talking about Suryakumar Yadav, he has been in poor form ever since the recent ODI series against Australia at home.

He could not open the account in all three matches played during this series, while he has been able to score only 15 runs in the three matches played so far in IPL 2023.

Talking about his last 6 innings played in limited-overs cricket, he has been able to score 0 runs 4 times, 1 run once, and 15 runs once. After the ODI series played against Australia, his innings have been 0(1), 0(1), 0(1), 15(16), 1(2), and 0(1).

Struggling with the form of this veteran batsman of the Indian cricket team has become a matter of concern for the management and on this issue, former India coach Ravi Shastri has also expressed his concern and has also told the way to get out of it.

Shastri Gave Special Advice To Get The Film

Ravi Shastri believes that Suryakumar Yadav needs to be a little more cautious at the beginning of his innings.

This batsman had played many big innings last season for Mumbai Indians but the current season has been very bad.

Referring to Suryakumar, Shastri said, ‘The morning always comes after the night. Suryakumar is going to feel this thing very soon. My advice to him would be to take some time at the beginning of the innings.

By the time I don’t mean 20-30 minutes, he will find his rhythm after six to eight ball innings. One good inning will solve his problem. This is what he needs.
