The Afridi vs Gambhir contest in the same league once again hit the headlines last Sunday when the former Pakistan star played a blistering knock against Gautam Gambhir-led New Jersey Legends in a US Masters T10 League match in Lauderhill, Florida.

Opting to bat after winning the toss, New York Warriors scored 84 runs in 5 overs thanks to Afridi’s stormy 37 runs (6 fours and 2 sixes in 12 balls). However, despite Afridi’s brilliant effort, New Jersey Legends won the match by scoring 85 runs in just 4.4 overs.

For New Jersey Legends, former New Zealand left-handed batsman Jesse Ryder scored 38 runs in 12 balls, which included 3 fours and 4 sixes.
