Team India will start its campaign against Australia on October 8 in Chennai. However, the first match of the World will be played on 5 October. Meanwhile, all 10 teams have started selecting their best possible 15 players.

Australia has taken the lead in preparations for the World Cup 2023 as they have announced their 18-member squad, while the other nine teams, including India, are in search of their best players for the mega event.

A big update has come about the time when the squad of Team India can be announced regarding the ICC ODI World Cup. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has informed through its website that all the teams will have to announce their final squads by 28 September 2023.

According to the information received on the official website of the ICC, all the teams will have to finalize their squad of 15 players before 28 September. Once the squad is announced, any changes will have to be approved by the ICC.
