Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma is a bit disappointed about not winning the Trinidad Test match due to rain. In this match, India batted very fast in the second innings and gave a big target of 365 runs to the hosts.

In the second innings, the West Indies started well, but Ravichandran Ashwin took 2 wickets on the fourth day to increase India’s chances of victory on the fifth day.

But, the rain did not allow any ball to be bowled on the last day and the match ended in a draw. The result came as a huge relief for the West Indies as they shared crucial points and the Indian cricket team was deeply disappointed for not getting a clean sweep 2–0.

After the match, a tweet of Rohit Sharma is becoming quite viral in which he has shown the Indian players amidst the rain and asked- ‘Is it Mumbai or Trinidad’

Now the Indian cricket team has reached the second position during the World Test Championship as the Pakistan team is at number one, who have elevated themselves to the top after defeating Sri Lanka in the first Test match.

Rohit said after the match, “We made a good effort, unfortunately, we didn’t get any game today. We played positively yesterday, but the rain decided the final decision. We were very confident. You know how difficult it is to bat on the last day. We scored what we thought. There was not much on the pitch. No game today is unfortunate for us.”

Now the three-match ODI and five-match T20 series will start on India’s West Indies tour.
