Karuna Nair has decided to part ways with the Karnataka team. Karun Nair wrote an emotional Instagram message announcing his decision to quit the team.

Nair was dropped from the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He decided to leave the Karnataka team before the Ranji Trophy team arrived. Karun Nair has not played any form of cricket since June last year.

Writing an Instagram post, Nair said that he would like to express his heartfelt gratitude to the Karnataka State Cricket Association for his journey with him over the last two decades.

Nair also wrote that the Karnataka State Cricket Association has supported me since the beginning of my cricketing career. This support helped me become a sportsperson.

Karun Nair also thanked his captains, coaches, and teammates. I am making a new beginning with the Vidarbha Cricket Association, bringing back the memories and friendship with KSCA.

I thank everyone for being a part of my cricketing journey. Significantly, Karun Nair has represented the Indian team in Tests and ODIs. He has a triple-century in Test cricket. Nair played this innings against England.

He joined this club along with Virender Sehwag. Nair has played 85 matches in first-class cricket. Nair has played a total of 90 games in the list. He has about 6 thousand runs in the first class.

Earlier, Nitish Rana had also announced to leave Delhi. Rana left Delhi to go to UP. Although he is a senior player of the Delhi team, he decided to find his new destination.
